Today, I’m celebrating a major milestone – my 26th birthday! As I reflect on my journey so far, I’m thrilled to have achieved many of my dreams, including publishing a book, becoming a Creative Director at a top-50 US website, and launching a successful blog.
However, I’m also aware that my financial journey is far from over. In fact, most of my goals for the rest of my 20s are centered around achieving financial stability and security.
Financial Freedom
My top priority is to earn a comfortable living through my blog, allowing me to live life on my own terms. I want to save at least 25% of my monthly income and invest any extra earnings wisely. To achieve this, I need to master my budgeting skills, ensuring I always know where I stand with my accounts and can plan for the future.
Smart Investing
I’m determined to own assets with real value, such as real estate, rather than accumulating unnecessary possessions. I’ll choose freelance projects that offer long-term satisfaction and increase the value of my work. My goal is to write a second book and be present for its launch, savoring the moment and inspiring others.
Giving Back
I want to dedicate a portion of my time to helping young women who are just starting out, offering guidance and support to those who need it. I’d love to take 100 ambitious women out for coffee and share my experiences with them.
Personal Growth
In the next few years, I aim to master various cooking styles, purify my wardrobe, and become a savvy sale shopper. I want to donate to charitable causes without hesitation and prioritize my quality of life alongside my income.
Financial Literacy
I’m committed to learning more about my finances and business, ensuring I’m confident when discussing my affairs with professionals. I’ll pay my fair share of taxes, recognizing the importance of contributing to society’s well-being.
Family and Travel
One of my greatest desires is to take my parents on a dream vacation, treating them to an unforgettable experience. I want to live a humble and fulfilling life, where money is a means to an end, not the ultimate goal.
As I embark on this new chapter of my life, I’m excited to tackle these challenges and create a bright, secure future for myself.
