A 3-Hour Business Launch Plan to Get You Started
Launching a new product, course, or business can be overwhelming. However, with a clear plan in place, you can stay organized and focused on your goals. In this article, we’ll walk you through a simple 3-step process to create a business launch plan in just 3 hours.
Step 1: Create a Launch Calendar (30-45 minutes)
Choose a 3-month timeframe for your launch and create a dedicated Google Calendar. Start by planning out your Phase 5, which is the fulfillment of your product. Set dates for calls, welcome weeks, and any bonus content you’ll provide.
Next, schedule your Phase 4, which is the actual launch when the cart opens. Choose a launch week that’s slow in your personal life, and set aside time for live streams, webinars, and social media promotions.
Work your way backward, planning out Phases 3, 2, and 1. These phases focus on building relationships, providing valuable content, and showcasing your expertise.
Step 2: Set Up Tasks in Asana (1 hour)
Create a new project in Asana and make a task for every single thing you need to do in your launch over the next three months. Be detailed and get everything out of your head and into Asana.
What videos need to be recorded? What blog articles or emails need to be written? What lead magnets need to be created? Assign tasks to yourself and others, and make sure to include deadlines.
Step 3: Delegate Tasks and Assign Deadlines (1 hour)
Delegate tasks to team members and give them real deadlines. Make sure to give yourself enough time to provide quality content and have wiggle room in case things don’t go as planned.
Executing Your Plan
Once you’ve completed these three steps, it’s time to execute. Check your calendar every Sunday to see what needs to be done that week, and check tasks off as you complete them.
By following this simple 3-hour business launch plan, you’ll be well on your way to launching your new product, course, or business with confidence and clarity.
Staying on Track
To ensure your launch stays on track, make sure to:
- Check your calendar regularly
- Complete tasks on time
- Delegate tasks effectively
- Leave room for flexibility
By staying focused and organized, you’ll be able to launch your business with ease and achieve your goals.
