Reflecting on Last Week
Last week, we explored the importance of setting intentional boundaries. But did you stop to think about what that means for you? Did you struggle to define where to draw the line? You’re not alone. Many of us find it challenging to establish boundaries because we’re unsure of where to start.
The Power of Values
The secret to setting effective boundaries lies in understanding your values. What drives you? What matters most to you? Your values are the foundation upon which you build your life, and they determine how you allocate your time and energy.
My Values, My Boundaries
As an example, let me share some of my core values: honesty, integrity, family, community, and connection. These values guide my decisions and help me prioritize what’s truly important. When I’m faced with a choice, I ask myself if it aligns with my values. If not, I set a boundary to protect my time and energy.
Your Turn
Take a moment to reflect on your values. What do you stand for? What do you want to achieve? Write down your values and examine how they align with your actions. Ask yourself: “Am I living in harmony with what I value most?”
