Inspired by a popular blog, I’m thrilled to share with you a mouth-watering recipe for Nutella brownies that will satisfy your sweet tooth. With a unique combination of creamy Nutella and rich chocolate, these brownies are sure to become a favorite.
The Ingredients You’ll Need
To make these indulgent treats, you’ll require the following ingredients:
- 4 oz Philly cream cheese
- 2 tbs softened butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbs flour
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tbs Nutella
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 large eggs
Let’s Get Baking!
Preheat and Prepare
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and line an 8×8 baking pan with cooking spray and parchment paper for easy removal.
Creamy Nutella Topping
Using a handheld mixer, cream together butter, sugar, and 1 tbs flour. Add cream cheese and mix until smooth. Beat in an egg until the mixture is creamy. Finally, add Nutella and mix until fully incorporated. Set the topping aside.
Rich Brownie Batter
Sift together 3/4 cups flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, cream together 1/2 stick softened butter, eggs, and vanilla. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
Assemble and Bake
Spread 3/4 of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Top with 3/4 of the cream cheese mixture. Dollop the remaining brownie batter and cream cheese mixture on top. Swirl the mixture with a toothpick or knife. Bake for 40-50 minutes, depending on your desired level of gooiness.
