Meanwhile, Darby is crushing her speed training, recently completing an impressive 3.15 miles in just over 30 minutes.
As they gear up for the upcoming 10K in Prospect Park, fingers are crossed that Adrienne’s knee will hold up.

When it comes to pre-race nutrition, getting it right is crucial. Our expert mentor shares her expertise on the ideal foods to fuel your body.
Expert Tip: “Opt for protein and carbs over fat,” she advises. “Low-fat Greek yogurt with fruit is a better choice than full-fat yogurt, and protein shakes are perfect for those who dislike the feeling of food sitting in their stomach while running.”
