From Burnout to Balance: Reclaiming My Passion for Blogging

Reigniting the Spark: A New Chapter in Business and Blogging

As the year comes to a close, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the incredible journey my business has been on. With a laser focus on growing our membership sites, I’m thrilled to report that we’ve made tremendous strides, impacting over 500 women every day through our programs.

However, this success has come at a cost. After re-recording every module for our membership site, I’m feeling drained and burnt out. My strengths as a Maximizer and Focus-driven individual have led me to prioritize growth over other aspects of my business, including blogging and creating – activities that bring me immense joy.

Getting Back to Roots

My business was built on the foundation of sharing ideas through blogging, and it’s what initially drew readers to our platform. Although our website traffic has continued to grow thanks to our talented guest contributors and editorial team, I’ve missed the creative outlet that blogging provides. Next year, I’m committed to reviving my blogging routine and carving out dedicated time for writing.

Lessons Learned

Looking back, I’ve realized that consistency is key to successful blogging. It’s not about crafting perfect posts or dedicating hours to writing; it’s about making time each day to create. By prioritizing my morning hours for blogging, just as I did when I first started, I’m excited to reignite my passion for writing and share new content with our audience.

A New Chapter

As I embark on this new chapter, I’m eager to reconnect with our readers and share fresh ideas and perspectives. I’ve learned that leadership and motherhood are important aspects of my life, but they shouldn’t come at the expense of my creativity. By making time for blogging each day, I know that I’ll be a better entrepreneur, leader, and person.

The Power of Daily Creation

The most important lesson I’ve learned is that daily creation is essential to my well-being and success. It’s not about achieving perfection; it’s about showing up and making progress. By giving myself the time and space to plan and write, I know that the rest will follow. Here’s to a new year of creativity, connection, and growth!
