A Gentle Morning Workout Routine
Try this 8-move circuit workout, designed to strengthen and stretch your entire body. Complete 3 rounds, with 10-12 reps in the first set, 12-15 reps in the second set, and 15-20 reps in the third set.
The Moves
- Hollow Body Hold: Engage your abs and lift your shoulder blades and legs off the floor.
- Single-Leg Glute Bridge: Lift your hips off the mat, keeping your knees in line and engaging your glutes.
- Reverse Oblique Crunch: Twist at the waist, bringing your bent knees toward your chest.
- Plank with Knee Tap: Draw your knee to your chest and lift your hand to tap it, alternating sides.
- Double Leg Lift: Lower your legs as close to the mat as possible, then lift them back up.
- Squat: Hinge at your hips, sending your hips back and bending your knees.
- Lateral Lunge with Knee Drive: Take a big step to the side, bending your knee and bringing your palms together in front of your chest.
- Inchworm Push-Up: Walk your hands out to a high plank position, then lower your chest to the floor and push back up.
