The Greatist Team recently embarked on an adventure to Reebok Sports Club/NY’s Aspen Ascent, a unique fitness program designed to get skiers, snowboarders, and fitness enthusiasts in top physical condition. Led by instructor Julie Bobek, a seasoned downhill athlete, the class combined strength and conditioning exercises with ski-inspired moves to create a heart-pumping, adrenaline-fueled workout.
Bodyweight Bootcamp
The routine kicked off with a series of bodyweight exercises, including tuck jumps, burpees, and jump squats, designed to build strength and agility. As the class progressed, weights, aerobic steps, and sliders were introduced, simulating the physical demands of navigating the slopes.

With a little imagination, the studio setting was transformed into a snowy mountain top, complete with steep obstacles and treacherous terrain.
