What is the hardest aspect of cyclocross?
Racing in cold weather is challenging for me. If I’m cold at the start line, I struggle to warm up, and my feet often turn numb.
What is your training like during cyclocross season?
I reduce my training hours significantly during ‘cross season, focusing on short, intense intervals and yoga for strength and flexibility.
How important is diet and nutrition to your training?
Very important. I believe in supporting local, sustainable agriculture and cooking meals from scratch using in-season produce.
