In contrast, Americans average only 16 vacation days per year, and often don’t even use them all. It’s clear that our culture values work over relaxation, but it’s time to rethink this approach. Time off is not just about lounging on the couch; it’s about spending time with loved ones, pursuing passion projects, and taking care of our physical and mental health.

In Iceland, heated pools and hot tubs are an integral part of life, providing essential socialization and relaxation. While they may come with a small admittance fee, the benefits to physical and mental health are undeniable.
