Video Editor Wanted for Exciting Online Education Project

Are you a skilled video editor with a passion for online education? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for storytelling? We’re looking for a talented individual to join our team and help us create engaging video content for our YouTube channel.

The Role:

As our new video editor, you’ll be responsible for editing three videos a week, including:

• The Tuesday Show: A 15-20 minute video that requires attention to detail and creative flair.
• The Thursday Guide: A short and snappy 3-5 minute video that needs to be edited with precision and pace.
• The Friday Fix: An 8-10 minute video that demands a keen sense of storytelling and visual style.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Create simple graphics, including text overlays, captions, images, and quotes.
• Edit short social media previews for each video (20-30 seconds in length).
• Caption every video after it’s been uploaded.

Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects.
• Able to take direction and make creative adjustments.
• Flexible and able to work on both rough and final cuts.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent communication skills.
• Deadline-driven and able to work under pressure.
• Familiar with online video culture and our YouTube channel.
