Savory Turkey Burgers with a Twist
When it comes to burgers, we often think of traditional beef or chicken. But what about turkey? With the right blend of spices and ingredients, turkey burgers can be just as juicy and flavorful as their counterparts. I recently experimented with a recipe inspired by Martha Stewart’s lamb kofte, and the result was nothing short of amazing.
The Magic of Coriander Seeds
The secret to these burgers lies in the coriander seeds, which add a unique and aromatic flavor. Don’t skip this ingredient, or you’ll miss out on the magic! Paired with ground turkey, salt, red chili powder, and cumin, these seeds create a flavor profile that’s both exotic and familiar.
Versatile and Delicious
These turkey burgers are incredibly versatile. Serve them on a toasted bun, and you’ve got a classic burger. But try them over white rice, and you’ll discover a whole new level of flavor. You can also shape them into meatballs and serve them in a soup or with a side of tzatziki sauce. The possibilities are endless!
Easy to Make
The best part? These burgers are ridiculously easy to make. With just 10 ingredients and 20 minutes of active cooking time, you can whip up a batch of 7-8 servings in no time. Simply mix the ingredients together, shape into patties, and cook in a hot skillet. Resist the urge to over-flip or press down on the patties, and you’ll be rewarded with a beautifully charred and juicy burger.
