What Worked Well in July

  • Instagram growth: We posted more frequently and engaged with our audience, resulting in a 1,000-follower increase.
  • Pinterest group boards: Our boards continue to drive traffic to our site, with over 100 new followers per day.
  • Personal achievements: We celebrated an anniversary getaway trip and spent quality time with family.
  • Business milestones: We found a new lawyer, web developer, and community manager, and made significant progress on our strategy.

What Didn’t Work Well in July

  • Sponsored posts: We encountered issues with urgent posts and decided to prioritize other opportunities.
  • Health challenges: Our team faced health issues, highlighting the need for more support and management.
  • Inauthentic engagement: We addressed automated commenting on Instagram and encouraged genuine interactions.
  • Late nights: We worked extensively, but aim to establish a better work-life balance.

Actions Taken in July

  • Content creation: We published 36 blog posts, 6 podcast episodes, and 4 YouTube videos.
  • Membership site trainings: We launched two challenges in our membership community.

Goals for Next Month (August 2016)

  • Promote our networking event: We’ll spread the word about our September 16th event.
  • Re-evaluate Facebook group goals: We’ll assess our group’s purpose and ensure it aligns with our members’ needs.
  • Long-term planning: We’ll work on integrating our career training into universities and career centers.
  • Find interns: We’ll recruit support to help with our growing workload.
  • Plan for Corporate Rescue Plan 2.0: We’ll prepare for the re-launch of our program.
  • Prep for the FALL challenge: We’ll create a free challenge to help people fall in love with their work and life.
