Setting Intentions for a Purposeful Year
As we step into a new year, it’s essential to take a moment to reflect on our goals and aspirations. What do we want to achieve? How do we want to grow? For me, this year is about focus, intention, and creating a better work-life balance.
A Shift in Perspective
Last year was a whirlwind of change and growth, both personally and professionally. I didn’t set specific goals, but instead, focused on navigating the challenges that came my way. This year, I’m taking a more intentional approach. I’ve created a 90-day plan, and I’m excited to share my goals with you.
Why My Goals Have Changed
Several factors have influenced my goals this year. Firstly, I’ve come to realize that my blog, podcast, and book writing are not just hobbies, but also important aspects of my business. While they may not generate significant revenue, they bring me joy and help me connect with like-minded individuals.
Secondly, this is our first year offering a physical product, which presents new challenges and opportunities. I’m learning to navigate the world of shipping and inventory management, and I’m excited to see how our product will be received.
Prioritizing Personal Goals
For the first time, I’m prioritizing personal goals alongside professional ones. I want to make time for my family, focus on my health, and nurture meaningful relationships. I’ve come to understand that a healthy work-life balance is essential for my well-being and success.
Simplifying and Focusing
This year, I’m adopting a more streamlined approach to my business. I’m not launching new products or courses, and I’m not setting specific social media or website traffic goals. Instead, I’m focusing on what works and building on our existing momentum.
Thinking Like a CEO
I’ve been inspired by two books, “Traction” and “Profit First,” which have changed the way I think about my business. I’m adopting a more strategic approach, prioritizing profitability, and making intentional decisions about how I allocate my time and resources.
My Annual Goals
So, what do I hope to achieve this year? Here are a few of my key goals:
- Double our business revenue without sacrificing my work-life balance
- Sell 1,000 planners and help people achieve their goals and dreams
- Write a book, secure a publisher and agent, and share my stories and expertise with a wider audience
The Power of Accountability
Sharing my goals with you is both exciting and intimidating. However, I know that having a supportive community behind me will help me stay accountable and motivated. I invite you to check in with me throughout the year and offer your encouragement and support.
Start Planning Your Year
If you haven’t already, take some time to reflect on your goals and aspirations. What do you want to achieve this year? What steps can you take to make your vision a reality? I encourage you to join me in using a planner or journal to map out your goals and create a plan for success.
A Final Thought
Before we part ways, I want to leave you with a few affirmations that have been inspiring me lately:
- I will create the most extraordinary life I can imagine.
- There are no limits to what I can achieve.
- I am 100% committed to becoming the person I need to be.
- My goals are possible.
Remember, you got this! I’m cheering you on, and I look forward to seeing the amazing things you’ll achieve this year.
